![]() ![]() However we never faced Hive God Savathun in battle. Savathun’s nature was to be cunning, and to lie. That nature doesn't lend itself to his own strength, and thus cutting off his tribute made him weak enough to kill. Oryx nature was to be forever curious, to always learn. Because of her nature (war) and her loyalty to the deep, I think she's in line to become our strongest foe. IMO Xivu is going to be the strongest of the Hive siblings once we face her. But thinking about this one opponent that has the single-minded goal of destroying you in open combat and nothing else, no games or tricks or grand plans, just the fight - doesn't that excite you? It's easy to lose sight of the individual foes among the grand cosmic chess game being played here. Sure, we know there are things that hold more raw power. ![]() She is war, and she will bring us nothing less. She has to fight tooth and claw, with every ounce of tribute she has gathered, to prove that she can fight us and win, because that's how she is. She will be incredibly powerful in combat at the very least, and since that's all she knows, it will be how we fight her - on her turf, the thing that makes her stronger, the thing she bases her whole existence on. It doesn't matter if she's the single strongest thing we fight - she has honed one single skill for billions of years, and that's fighting. Xivû Arath will be cool and important, I think, because she embodies war. Eramis was - again - just a regular Eliksni, but she had access to a new power we weren't used to facing. Savathûn was scary not for her raw power but the potential depths of her deception - we never truly knew what she was up to until the last moments. Oryx was scary because he was strong, but also because he could Take, and that was new and firghtening, and he wanted us specifically dead. It's more about what each big foe brings to the table. DSC Taniks and Atraks were basically just big Captains.Įqually, some of the seemingly strongest creatures we've killed have been shockingly easy. Crota was a serious threat for a very long time, and he's, like.a Strike boss next to Xivû Arath. It might be easy to forget, but some of our most notable foes haven't been all that strong in the long run. What's Rasputin's favorite dance? "The worm." >!What's Rasputin's favorite dance?
